Spending Christmas at the resort was a blast, filled with great activities for the family, including an enjoyable day spa experience and a fantastic buffet breakfast with plenty of options. The rooms were spacious and clean, with lovely modern decor and comfortable beds. the staff was friendly and accommodating, providing easy check-in and out.
Despite these minor setbacks, the resort's advantageous location made it worth the visit, and we enjoyed our stay overall.

The Hotel from out side to inside looked nothing like the pictures, the place smelt old and with out freshness. Non of the facilities were in good condition and you could not even order in room food service after 9pm even though it was advertised 24hrs. The staff were hopeless and it was an absolute dissapointment!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by a gorgeous golf course and walking tracks where you can spot kangaroos roaming around. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with a balcony offering a partial view of the golf course. I also loved the large screen television and the reliable wifi. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, with a wide variety of delicious food to choose from.
Highly recommended for families.

I chose the Novotel Forest Resort as we wanted a quiet girls weekend away at a Hotel that had spa facilities. The location was peaceful and perfect for what we were after. The close proximity to Daylesford also meant that we could look at shops as well. The room was spacious and the spa bath was fantastic. The opening window from the bathroom to the bedroom so you could look at the view while in the bath was great. The food was reasonably priced as was the minibar. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and even parked my car as we were running late for our massage, beyond expectations. Thanks for a great stay.
A couple of negatives points were: - They were far too soft - The water pressure in the shower and bath were poor. I understand that this is an eco friendly hotel but the water pressure was not enough to wash shampoo out of my hair :(

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, from the restaurant to the cleaning staff. Our room was spacious and immaculately clean, with all the necessary facilities. In addition, the breakfast buffet was excellent, with a great variety of options to suit all tastes. The location of the hotel was also fantastic, as it was close to a range of local tourist attractions and shops.
Everything was spot on.

I liked that the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy. The swimming pool had a pleasant water temperature.
I thought that the Kids Club could have more to offer. There would have been complementary breakfast. It was expensive to order a movie.

Would probably prefer a more basic breakfast menu, but that is a very minor detail.

Spent Christmas at this huge golf resort, and it was alright. The pool was pretty nice, and the food wasn't terrible. The resort is in a great location near some attractions and a park, which made it easy to go out and do things. Plus, the staff was friendly and helpful; they even decorated the place for Christmas, which was a nice touch.
It was small and cramped, and the air conditioner barely worked, making it really hot and uncomfortable. The bed was also pretty uncomfortable, and the walls were thin.

Beautiful place to stay, very comfortable. We booked for one night but ended up extending our stay for 2 extra nights.
That there was only 1 vegetarian option (main) on the menu at the harvest restaurant.

We loved room 137 very cosy with the gas fire very comfy beds. All your staff are so helpful from reception through to cleaners. We booked through Booked.net and got a very good rate. We come up to Ballarat regularly for dancing/violin competitions and end up staying somewhere different each time, but would stay there from now on.
